Shannon Bird Statement On Final Passage of the One Big Betrayal Bill
Westminster, CO – Colorado State Representative and CO-08 candidate Shannon Bird issued the following statement regarding Gabe Evans voting yes on final passage of the One Big Betrayal:
“Today, Gabe Evans signed his pink slip by voting to gut Medicaid, raise utility costs, slash food assistance, and defund Planned Parenthood, all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Neighbors across our district are struggling with rising costs, and one in three people here rely on Medicaid. Next year, voters will put an end to Gabe’s short-lived congressional career, just like he put an end to health insurance coverage for nearly 150,000 Coloradans.”
