Shannon Bird Raises Over $440k in Six Weeks, Announces Over 100 Endorsements in Race for Eighth Congressional District
Westminster, Colorado – Today, State Rep. Shannon Bird announced raising more than $440,000 in just six weeks for the second quarter of her congressional campaign for Colorado’s Eighth Congressional District, which she launched on May 20.
“I’m honored that voters across the Eighth Congressional District and Colorado are uniting behind our campaign,” said Bird. “While Gabe Evans is in Washington voting to rip away our health coverage and raise our utility costs to pay for tax breaks for billionaires, we’re building a campaign to lower costs and protect our Colorado way of life.”
In addition to this hefty six-week fundraising total, the Bird for Congress campaign has earned more than 100 endorsements from current and former elected officials and community leaders across the Eighth Congressional District and Colorado – more than all other candidates combined. Bird has also made more than 30 district stops since announcing her campaign, appearing at community events, festivals, parades, meet-and-greets, and touring small businesses.
